Linzi Jones
Founder of The Step-Up Hub, Marketing and Communications Consultant, and a DVSC Trustee
Having lived in Rhyl and the surrounding areas for most of her life, Linzi’s connection to the town is both deeply personal and professional. Through her work with local organisations and residents, she has seen not only the challenges Rhyl faces, but also the strength, creativity, and pride within its communities.
Linzi joined the Board because she genuinely cares about Rhyl’s future and wants to help shape long-term change that is driven by the people who live and work there. With over 18 years’ experience across marketing, communications, fundraising, and digital inclusion, she brings strong expertise in partnership working, governance, and community engagement.
She hopes the strategy will deliver visible, everyday improvements – revitalising the high street with a vibrant mix of spaces, creating opportunities, and tackling social isolation by providing welcoming places for people to connect.
For Linzi, success means a lively, inclusive Rhyl where people feel proud, involved, and optimistic – where the town is full of energy, opportunity, and a renewed sense of confidence for the future.
